Client View
The "Client View" is the frontpage of the Reader system. It allows users to navigate books, search authors, write reviews and discuss their favourite books in the forum system.
As you can see, the frontpage will show off the newest books you have added, latest news and user reviews. It also gives a quite stat overview, which again is cached and updates every 6 hours (can be changed in the Admin panel-> Global Settings).
The sidebar lists the available pages, which allow users to search for books, view promoted books, find user reviews and manage their own user lists.
The sidebar also shows off the most popular genres (ordered by how many books are in that genre). A user can view all the Genres also by clicking on the View All page.
When you click on a book from the client view, you'll be presented with all the data you have added about the book. You can view chapers, characters, quotes and latest news. Each book page also lists user reviews, which can be updated/added from this page too. Any user can write a review and rate the book. You can disable User Reviews in the Admin Panel -> Book Settings area.
Book Reviews can be submitted by any Logged in user. An Admin or user with the User Role permissions Book Moderator can edit/delete any user reviews too. Each Review also has a simple voting system that allows other users to agree/disagree with that review.
Users can also Follow different Authors. Followed Authors that have news added to them will then appear in the user's follow feed as an aggregated list of news.
Users can also create their own personal lists of books they like. A user can create as many User Lists as they like and they are displayed on their profile for others to see. A user can add a book directly from the Book's page or from their User Lists section.
